Rural businesswomen in north-east England are invited to attend a mini-conference and networking event focusing on techniques to encourage visitors to view your website.
The Business Link-sponsored event, which is being held in Hawes, North Yorkshire, on 13 November, features two main speakers. Anna Farmery of The Engaging Brand will give a presentation on blogs and pod casts, while Carol Atkinson will talk about her experiences in promoting her straw bale cabin business (www.homegrownhome.co.uk) on the internet.
The event runs from 9am until 3pm, and is being hosted by Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE), a national networking and support organisation for rural businesswomen. The venue is the Dales Countryside Museum.
